WELCOME!

Hiraya: Gunita ng Batangas is a project that addresses the declining connection between Filipino children and folk legends. These timeless stories are essential for preserving Filipino culture and identity, yet they fail to connect with the younger generation. By reimagining these stories in a contemporary setting, the project aims to bridge this gap and rekindle interest with Filipino folk traditions. The project seeks to preserve the essence of these tales while presenting them in a visually engaging and relatable manner. Through modern adaptations, dynamic animation, and compelling narratives, the animations will inspire the youth to reconnect with Filipino folklore, fostering a renewed appreciation for their cultural roots.

“Welcome! I’ll be guiding you through your Batangas journey.”
